A step by step of how to install the Canto Adobe Connector plugin

Disclaimer for Apple Users: Adobe does not currently support third party plugins for the M1/2 Chip on the Apple Mac computers. To resolve this you will be required to switch your Mac to Rosetta compatible mode for Adobe Connector extensions. Please see this article for additional information on how to open in Rosetta mode.
How to set up Canto Connector for Adobe
Setting up your Canto Connector login can sometimes be confusing and there are some steps which can make it difficult if not done correctly. Please read the steps carefully and for any further issues please contact helpdesk@databasics.com.au
Step 1.
For initial installing of adobe connector app Click the link: https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/103079/canto-adobe-connector
Step 2.
You will be brought to the Adobe website and Select the free button, once installed it will display a green tick.
Step 3
You will be taken to your adobe creative cloud desktop in your plugins section. Also located by Stock & Marketplace>Plugins>Manage Plugins and click install.
Step 4
Once it has been installed you will locate it by going to the Window>extensions>Canto Connector in the top menu.
Step 5.
You will need to log into your canto, so select the appropriate URL and click connect.
Step 6.
Log into your Canto using your account name, email address, and password and click sign in.
Step 7.
Select the correct environment your profile would have access too (Portal, Main Library, Workshop). Note: if you select the wrong environment that your profile doesn't have access too, then you will not be able to connect properly.
Step 8.
You will be authorized, close the website and go back to your Adobe app.
Step 9.
You will select ‘continue’ on your adobe app now. Note: Please do not hit this button until all the previous steps are completed, as it will make you have to relog into canto again.
Step 10.
Done!
You will have access to your Canto in adobe now, and to use your assets, please select a new file or project and simply drag and drop the asset into your file, or click the asset to see details and then insert.
